Rules for Amity Trade Days
When: Trade Days will be held the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before the 2nd Monday of each Month.
Hours of Operation: Friday & Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We will have a short devotional at 9 a.m. Sunday morning for vendors wanting to attend.
Parking: $2.00/day Admission: FREE
Vendors will be given one vendor parking pass, to park in the private lot, inside the gated area, per 10x10 booth. Vendor parking pass must displayed in your left front window.
Vehicles will not be allowed to drive in and out of the vending area during business hours. For safety reasons please have your booth set up prior to us opening to the customers. There is a vendor only gate that can be used with a vendor only parking pass. Please pick up your vendor pass in the office upon arrival.
Set up time for vendors will be: Thursday 10a.m. 7p.m. Friday & Saturday: 6:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
Sunday 7:00 a.m. –9:45 a.m. Prior to opening. Please check in office before setting up.
To guarantee the same booth, you must reserve it at the end of the show! If the vendor becomes a no show and has left merchandise in a booth that has not been paid for, the merchandise will become property of Amity Trade Days and will be removed and sold so that the booth may be rented. Any returned check will have a $25 charge.
Amity Trade Days retains the right to move any vendors spot for any reasonable cause and will notify vendor before doing so.
Vendors are not required to have a sales tax permit but are required to charge sales tax. Our tax rate is 9.5% and it can be included in the price of your merchandise. You will be given an easy form to fill out with instruction, when you check in, to remit the sales tax you collect.
Be sure to pick up in office upon arrival along with parking pass.
Armed Security will be provided Thursday through Saturday night. Multiple security cameras will be provided 24/7. We will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to person or property, from (Fire, theft, weather, accidents or any other reasons, etc.….)
No electric heaters allowed. Vendors may bring propane heaters. No smoking in the buildings. Please look for designated smoking areas.
Food vendors are responsible for their own food permits. Unless you are registered as a food vendor, you will not be allowed to sell food or drinks.
No subleasing of the booth spaces.
Must have one person to man the booth at all times and keep booth clean and orderly so customers can move freely in and out of booths. IF your merchandise is at Trade Days, you need to be present to sell it and your booth must be open.
Before leaving, booths must be picked up, with no trash and boxes left behind.
No used clothing to be sold, except vintage items. Vintage clothing items will be limited to 5 pieces in your booth.
Campers, other than show campers, will be located away from the vending area. Campers are not allowed in the buildings after dark for security purposes.
No moving vehicles inside the vending area during open hours of operation, except for large item pick-ups, which
will be done from the loading zone only. Vendors may use the vendor gate with a vendor pass to come and go as needed. Please keep the gate shut.
If you sell a large item requiring vehicle pick up, please give your customer a ticket with the name of the item and booth location, to be given to the gateman. He will escort them to the loading zone.
Animals being sold must comply with all state, county, health department, and humane society rules, including immunizations and testing required to sell that particular animals. It is vendors responsibility to know the rules for the particular animal they are selling. Animals must have food and water at all times and booth must be kept clean during and after the show. We are happy to be pet friendly but ask that you please keep your dog on a short leash or stroller and please clean up after your animal.
We may add or change rules, as we see they are needed, to make it more enjoyable for everyone. We retain the right to refuse any inappropriate merchandise. We welcome all suggestions from Vendors and Customers. revised 3/24/19
